Introduction New Beginnings - The Grand (re)Opening Edition Well, here we are... Three and a bit years in the making, and three years out on show... The Lab has finally grown up from its humble beginnings as a teenage boy's shrine to his favourite anime series to a nearly-twenty-something's... err... shrine to his favourite anime series (and there's more than one now)... And, in a way, your humble webmaster too has grown up quite a bit... Looking back, it's been quite a long journey... We've been through three different versions of The Lab... We've been through many events, including a football World Cup (Japan/Korea 2002) and European Championships (Portugal 2004)... We've been through various conflicts, political and social changes, and world-changing tragedies, like "09/11", the Madrid Bombings, and, more recently, the Asian Tsunami disaster... I, as a person, have been through a lot in the last three years... I've grown more open to anime and video games... I've finished me GCSEs with great grades, and my AS/A2 Levels with decent grades... I'm now attending Middlesex University, studying to become a games programmer... I've been through some good and some really rough times, some I wish never happened... But hey... That's life, right...? So now I move onwards to the future... Who knows where it will take me... But one thing is for sure... You faithful visitors of Little Washu's Anime Lab UK will be some of the first to find out about it... So here's to a brilliant new beginning for me, The Lab, and, in general, the world as I know it... Let the Winds of Fortune be with you... O-O~ |
